Superior Court III
The following violations were recently admitted and adjudged in Kosciusko Superior Court II with Judge Joe V. Sutton presiding. Unless otherwise indicated, the conviction is for a Class D felony. The month the incident occurred is included to eliminate confusion.

Driving While Intoxicated - Fined $100 from a July offense; sentenced to three years in prison, of which all by 60 days were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Randal W. Collar, 47, Syracuse. The prison term can be served in work release if Collar is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $100 from a June offense; sentenced to two years in prison, of which all by 60 days were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Ryan N. Vickery, 27, North Webster. The prison term can be served in work release if Vickery is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $100 from a June offense; sentenced to two years in prison, of which all by 60 days were suspended; ordered to pay a $300 alcohol countermeasure fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Anthony Whitenack, 28, Warsaw. Sentenced for a June offense to three years in prison, ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and driving privileges suspended two years was Jack L. Roatcap, 37, Syracuse. Also, for driving while adjudged a habitual traffic offender, Roatcap was sentenced to eight years in prison, of which four years were suspended, and ordered to pay a $500 fine, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting. The prison terms are ordered served concurrently.
Fined $50 from a June 2000 offense; sentenced to one year in prison, of which all but 40 days were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, a $25 initial and $10 monthly probation user's fee, $300 in court-appointed attorney fees, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Angel Smith, 23, Syracuse.
Fined $120.50 from an August offense; sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison, of which all but 60 days were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, the costs of his court-appointed attorney, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Ronnie Hurd, 52, Warsaw. The prison term can be served in work release if Hurd is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $100 from a June offense; sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended two years was Ricky L. Hite, 41, Warsaw. The prison term can be served in work release if Hite is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $100 from a February 1999 offense; sentenced to two years in prison, of which all but 120 days were suspended; ordered to pay a $300 alcohol countermeasure fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Charles C. Sherwood, 67, North Webster. The prison term can be served in work release if Sherwood is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $70.50 from a June offense; sentenced to three years in prison, of which two years were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was John E. Williams Jr., 33, Syracuse. The prison term can be served in work release if Williams is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Sentenced from a September offense to 36 months in prison, of which all but two months were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Richard Miller, 26, Warsaw. The prison term can be served in work release if Miller is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $100 from a May offense; sentenced to three years in prison, of which 1-1/2 year were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was L. Edward Pruitt, 36, Silver Lake. The prison term can be served in work release if Pruitt is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Driving While Intoxicated (Class A Misdemeanor) - Fined $500 from a May offense; sentenced to one year in jail; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended two years was Jeffrey Marrs, 30, Cromwell. Also, for driving while adjudged a habitual traffic offender (a Class D felony), Marrs was sentenced to three years in prison, of which six months were suspended; ordered to pay a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and his driving privileges are suspended for life. The prison terms can be served in work release if Marrs is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $50 from a June offense; sentenced to one year in prison; ordered to pay a $300 alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended two years was Donald J. Northrup, 49, Syracuse. Also, for driving while adjudged a habitual traffic offender (a Class C felony), Northrup was sentenced to four years in prison and his driving privileges are suspended for life. The prison terms were ordered served concurrently and can be served in work release if Northrup is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $25 from an April offense; sentenced to one year in prison, of which six months were suspended; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Branden A. Wiseman, 26, Bourbon. The prison term can be served in work release if Wiseman is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $20.50 from a January offense; sentenced to one year in jail; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Terry L. Loe, 46, North Webster. The prison term can be served in work release if Loe is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Nonsupport Of A Child - Fined $1 from a January 2001 offense; sentenced to three years in prison, to be suspended on the condition that he pay his current child support, plus $1,600 per year toward the arrearage; and ordered to reimburse the county for the costs of his court-appointed attorney was Kevin Schlemmer, 39, Warsaw.
Sentenced from a July offense to three years in prison, to be suspended on the condition that he pay his current child support, plus $100 per month toward the arrearage was Joe C. Shepherd, 30, Warsaw.

Public Intoxication (Class B Misdemeanor) - Fined $100 from a May offense and sentenced to six months in jail, to be suspended upon attendance in Alcoholics Anonymous twice weekly was Bruce Edward McClure, 48, Milford.
