Three Rescued After Truck Submerged in Tippecanoe River

Jazmin Cielo drove her pickup truck into the Tippecanoe River early this morning. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded at 2:08 a.m. today near Fox Farm Road and CR 150W, Warsaw, for the partially submerged vehicle. When officers arrived, Ciello, 22, Pierceton, and two passengers were standing in the bed of the vehicle. Divers were summoned to the scene and assisted in rescuing the three subjects back to the shoreline. Cielo was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license. She is currently being held on a $500 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail. The other two passengers also were cleared by medics at the scene and reportedly were not injured. KCSD was assisted by Warsaw Police Department, Lutheran Kosciusko EMS and the Warsaw Wayne Fire Territory and Dive Team.[[In-content Ad]]
