Three Men Charged with Creighton Brothers Burglary

Brandon Michael Conley, 19, Claypool; Jared Wayne Visel, 18, Warsaw; and a 17-year-old juvenile male whose name police did not release were taken into custody and transported to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department following the incident, according to a press release from KCSD.
Officers responded to a 911 call of a possible breaking and entering Saturday morning at 5:27 a.m. near 4500 W. Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw. Officers met with an employee of Creighton Brothers, who had witnessed a suspicious vehicle fleeing the area upon his arrival. Officers were advised of various items that were missing, along with damage to the building locks and a small amount of blood found near a broken window, the release states.
Deputies obtained additional information regarding a possible location of the suspected vehicle at 4172 W. Crystal Lake Road. On arrival, officers immediately noticed a large fire at the rear of the residence, along with a vehicle matching the initial description.
Deputies located two individuals hiding behind a shed along with a third subject inside the residence. During the course of the investigation, officers were given permission to search the vehicle and found items that matched the description of those that had been reported stolen from Creighton Brothers. KCSD evidence technicians were summoned to process the scene along with identification of the recovered stolen items.
Conley and Visel were both arrested and preliminarily charged with burglary and theft, and were being held on individual $2,000 bonds in the Kosciusko County Jail. Information regarding the incident has been forwarded to the Kosciusko County Probation Department for further review as well as potential juvenile charges.[[In-content Ad]]
