Three Men Arrested on Theft Charges

Three men were arrested on theft charges early Wednesday morning by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies and detectives.

KCSD Deputies responded to the 4000 block of Deer Run at 4:07 a.m. after a citizen had seen two subjects running towards a vehicle that had been parked along the road in the addition.  

A description of the fleeing suspect vehicle was dispatched as deputies converged on the area. KCSD deputies then discovered that several vehicles had been entered into with various items removed.  

As officers were searching the area, a Warsaw City Patrolman spotted what was described as the possible suspect vehicle near the intersection of CRs 300 North and 100 East.  

KCSD deputies arrived with Warsaw police officers and took three males subjects into custody.  Inside the vehicle, officers located numerous items including some that had recently been reported missing.  

KCSD deputies arrested and preliminarily charged the following individuals with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief:Dane Ryan Gohring, 20, Warsaw, Tanner Leonard, 20, Warsaw, and Cory Alan Reid Conley, 20, Warsaw.

All three men are being held on individual $2,000 bonds as set by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.  

KCSD detectives stated additional burglary charges are being investigated at this time as well as the correlation that the three suspects might have with the various thefts from vehicles that has occurred in the last three months in Kosciusko County.
