Emergency workers cut away a car door trapping Michael J. Wisenberg, 30, of Warner Drive, Claypool, Monday afternoon after an accident at CR 800W and U.S. 30, near Atwood. Wisenberg, who was a passenger in a car driven by Mark B. Dickinson, 29, of West Market Street, Warsaw, was airlifted to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, with chest injuries. Dickinson was listed in fair condition this morning. According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department report, Dickinson was northbound on CR 800W when he apparently failed to yield from the median to a westbound pickup driven by Robert E. Miller, 47, Lakeville. Miller told police he was unable to avoid the collision and struck Dickinson's car in the passenger side. Dickinson and Miller complained of back pain and were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. Damage from the accident is estimated at $10,000 to $25,000.
