Three Earn Marine Title

Tracey Swick, a 2004 Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate, earned the title Marine after completing the Marine Corps recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. She graduated Feb. 23.
Swick enlisted for five years of active duty service. She will receive advanced training at Marine Corps Combat Training at Camp Geiger, North Carolina. Then she will report to her Military Occupational Specialty School for aircraft maintenance at Pensacola, Fla.
Tracey Swick is the daughter of Eddie Swick, Akron, and Gale Shull, Rochester.
Nicholas Young, a 2006 Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate, recently earned the title Marine after completing Marine Corps recruit training on March 2 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.
Young enlisted for five years of active duty service. He will receive advanced training at the School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton, Calif. He then will report to his Military Occupational Specialty School for Aviation Operations at Pensacola, Fla.
Nicholas Young is the son of Dennis and Tracy Young, Warsaw.
Marc Brigham, a November 2006 Warsaw Community High School graduate, recently earned the title Marine after completing Marine Corps recruit training on March 2 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.
Brigham enlisted for five years of active duty service. He will receive advanced training at the School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton, Calif. He then will report to his Military Occupational Specialty School for Marine Corps Security Forces at Chesapeake, Virginia.
