Three Arrested on Drug Charges, More Arrests To Be Announced

PIERCETON – Kosciusko County and Warsaw Drug Task Force officers arrested three individuals on drug charges Thursday after locating a meth lab north of Pierceton.
According to a press release issued by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, officers arrived at 2186 N. CR 850E, Pierceton, to serve an arrest warrant for the resident, Gary John Alto, 54. When officers arrived, they discovered numerous one-pot meth labs inside the home.
The Indiana State Police Meth Lab Team was called in to secure and dismantle the meth labs.
Alto was arrested without incident and preliminarily charged with felony manufacturing and dealing meth and possession of meth and held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
During the on-scene investigation, two individuals – identified as Derek Robert Fleckenstein, 35, and Travon Francel Wendell, 30, both of Fort Wayne – arrived at Alto’s residence.
Fleckenstein was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended and felony possession of meth and held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $2,000 bond,  and Wendell was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and held on a $350 bond.
More than 10 other drug-related arrests were made Thursday and more information will be made available by the Warsaw Police Department later today.[[In-content Ad]]
