Amanda Thornsberry and SSG Matthew Alan Goss were married at 11 a.m. April 27, 2007 at Winona Lake. The bride is the daughter of Buddy and Verlin Leona Thornsberry, Kite, Ky., and the groom's parents are Larry and Kris Goss, Etna Green.

Maids of honor were Chante Garner, Warsaw, and Kendra King, Bourbon.

Best man was Phillip King, Bourbon.

The bride is a nursing assistant at Miller's Merry manor.

The groom is a mill operator with Land of Lakes, Milford, and is a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard.

On a night where the Warsaw football team was honored before the game, another Tiger team with high expectations going into the season made its 2024 debut. The Warsaw boys basketball team tipped the season off at the Tiger Den against Columbia City, and after battling for the better part of the game, the home side pulled away in the final minutes to win the opener 62-53.
