“We are grateful to businesses like Thornburg Honey Farms. We cannot move forward with programs like Pathway of Hope without the community’s involvement,” said Esteban Pommier, Salvation Army officer.
Ken Locke, community ministries director, said, “Pathway of Hope is not necessarily about case management, it is about life coaching. We are in the business of building relationships and through those formed relationships we are helping clients take steps toward sufficiency.”
Thornburgh Honey Farms, a family-operated business in Kosciusko County that specializes in making pure hand-poured honey products such as lip and hand balms and soaps.
“When we were looking for an organization to partner with for the year, Salvation Army of Kosciusko County was a simple choice for us. Their mission of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and their focus to help people through the love of Jesus comes out strongly in their drive of “Doing The Most Good,’” said Ben and Carrie Thornburgh, owners of Thornburgh Honey Farms.
