LIGONIER – Thomas McCullough, 80, passed away Dec. 16, 2013, at Dekalb Health in Auburn.  
He was born Dec. 29, 1932, in Whitley County to John Thomas and Marion Etta Rosenogle McCullough. On June 11, 1954, at Nazarene Church in Churubusco, he married Judith Hire.
He honorably served his country from 1950-53 in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from Dana Corp. with over 42 years of service. He enjoyed his grandchildren, friends at Dari-Point in Ligonier, and fishing and tinkering.
Surviving are three children: Larry McCullough, Albion; Lani (and spouse Warren) Elliott, Fort Wayne; and Lynn (and spouse Kathy) McCullough, Ligonier; one sister, Virginia, Ligonier; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings: Ellen, Dave, Betty, Geraldine, Roy and Max.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stone’s Hill Community Church, 151 Stone’s Hill Road, Ligonier, with Pastors Joey Nelson and Hubert Schmucker officiating. Burial is in Merriam Christian Cemetery, Merriam.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Yeager Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
