A third suspect in a meth-related incident turned himself in Thursday afternoon.
Kane Edward Hively, 27, Warsaw, turned himself in to the Kosciusko County Jail Thursday shortly after noon and was preliminarily arrested on felony charges of dealing methamphetamine and fleeing/resisting law enforcement. He is being held on a $9,000 bond.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded early Monday at 3:42 a.m. to the area of CR 450 North and Brown Road in regards to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, a male occupant of the vehicle, later identified as Hively, fled on foot from the vehicle, while a passenger was taken into custody. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested and preliminarily charged Nicole Lynn Winstead, 27, Claypool, with felony dealing methamphetamine, possession of meth precursors, and manufacturing methamphetamine after locating a portable meth lab inside the vehicle.
Winstead was also determined to have an active misdemeanor warrant for theft.  Officers were also able to determine the identity of the male subject that had fled as being that of Hively.[[In-content Ad]]
