Thursday, June 11, I got into my work car (parked in the driveway beside my personal car) and went off to work. Upon returning home that afternoon there is a car in the driveway blocking me from parking there, so I parked elsewhere. The car in the driveway had stopped running at the stop sign and was pushed into the driveway. OK, not a problem. A short time later, the owner shows up and the car just starts right up and she leaves.
Later that evening, I had an errand to run and took my work car so when I returned I could park it back in the driveway. Imagine my surprise when I did park and found the door to my personal car ajar. I shut the door, went in the house to get the keys to make sure the car would start. It did (so that told me that the car was not gotten into overnight as the battery would have been dead). It was during that day, there was $6 in bills missing, a pack of cigarettes, my center counsel was open and all of the quarters and dimes were missing from there and also from the tray where the bills had been, probably close to $15 in change.
My husband was home all day and there were only two people in the driveway that day: the postal carrier and the girl with the car that wouldn't start. I know that the postal carrier wouldn't have gotten into the car so my pick is ...
I hope that you are proud of yourself and spent my money wisely and choked on my cigarettes.
