AKRON - This week's crime of the week comes from the files of the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office.

On Oct. 7, the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office responded to a theft that occured at 9651 West CR 1200S, Akron.

When the officer arrived at the scene, the victime reported an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed a 14K-gold wedding ring, a gold diamond cluster ring, a blue saphhire ring with daimonds on each side, a little heart ring containing a diamond in the middle and other jewlery. An estimation of lost property was valued at more than $5,700.
