Irvin Lemler pours sap collected from maple trees into a holding tank, later to be made into syrup. He said it's been a good year so far for making syrup. Lemler has 2,500 buckets out now and plans to put out 1,000 more this afternoon. He usually has 4,000 to 5,000 buckets out each year. Lemler was working in a woods in the northwest part of the county this morning. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union[[In-content Ad]]
