Terry L. Rowland, 64, of 3675 S. Bruner Road, Warsaw, died at 2:07 a.m. Nov. 30, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Warsaw, to Russell Dean and Mary Louise Garber Rowland. On Oct. 3, 1998, in Warsaw, he married Alison Tully, who survives.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he worked for the Kosciusko County Highway Dept. for 25 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 1126 and American Legion Post 49. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961-1965 in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Rowland Barber, Warsaw; a granddaughter, Mia Lane Weed, Warsaw; two stepsons, Brett A. Kneller, Pierceton, and Michael R. Kneller, Warsaw; his mother, Mary Louise Rowland, Burket; two sisters, Deana Rowland (and spouse Garlie) Webb, and Elaine Seeley, both of Burket; two brothers, Roger (and spouse Sandy) Rowland, Mayer, Ariz., and Russell "Rusty" (and spouse Dawn) Rowland, Burket; three step-grandchildren, Jake and Gabriel Kneller, both of Cromwell, and Kyle Whelpley, Pierceton; his beloved dog, Roxie; and good friend, Buddy Reel, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Troy Lane Ault-Rodway, and his father.

Services were at 11 a.m. today at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Brian Koorey officiating. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery with military rites by VFW 1126 and American Legion Post 49.
