NORTH WEBSTER – Terry L. “Peany” Kiser, 66, of North Webster, died at 1:24 a.m. July 12, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born May 5, 1947, in Warsaw, to Ralph L. and Mary E. Angel Kiser. On April 25, 1981, in North Webster, he married Janet K. Vanator, who survives. A lifetime North Webster area resident, he graduated from North Webster High School in 1965 and attended Indiana State University. He was a U.S. Army Reserves veteran. He retired in 2010 from American Legion Post 253, North Webster, after 22 years of service and formerly worked in the recreation vehicle industry. He was member of Masonic Lodge, Cromwell, and the 40 & 8, Warsaw. He was an honorary life member of the American Legion and Sons of American Legion, North Webster. He formerly attended North Webster Church of the Brethren. Also surviving are two sons, Keith (and spouse Staci) Kiser, Kimmell, and Garrick (and spouse Dee) Kiser, Kendallville; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a son. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Steve Angel officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, near North Webster, with military graveside rites by members of the North Webster American Legion. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. ***** Memorials may be given to the American Legion or Sons of the American Legion Post 253, North Webster.
