MENTONE – Terry E. Lewis, 68, Rochester, and formerly of Talma, died at 9:46 a.m. Oct. 6, 2015, at IU Health University Hospital of Indianapolis.
He was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., to Ted and Linnell McGowen Serios, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 14, 1968, in Richland Center, he married Beverly Grubbs, who survives in Rochester.
He retired from Zimmer Orthopedics where he was a cell support operator. He attended Riverview Community Church. He enjoyed camping, car shows, GTOs, NASCAR and his favorite driver Jeff Gordon, the Beach Boys and old westerns. He also loved to feed the deer and spend time with his Poo-Pom Tinkerbell.
Also surviving are two daughters, Missy (and spouse Jeffrey) Smith, Rochester, and Amy Noel (and companion Bob Cooper), Tippecanoe; a son, Jay (and spouse Leewanna) Lewis, Akron; and grandchildren: Cody Ply, AJ Noel, Hannah Noel, Jared Lewis, Haley Lewis and Carissa Geier.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Rodney Ruberg officiating. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery.
Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
