Wayne and Gwen Teeple marked their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 7, 2008. Wayne Teeple and Gwendolyn Kreider were married Nov. 7, 1948, at New Salem Church near Milford.

He retired as vice president of People's State Bank in Leesburg after 37 years of service. She was a homemaker and bank employee.

The couple have two children, Pam (and spouse Jeff) Carroll, Warsaw, and Jack (and spouse Pati) Teeple, Hicksville, Ohio. They have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner.
