Teen Jailed In Theft From Dollar General

According to the Warsaw Police Department, a 15-year-old Winona Lake boy, who was reported as a runaway Jan. 21, went into the Dollar General Store at 540 E. Market St., Warsaw, Monday night and purchased an item. While at the checkout, the boy took money from the register when it was opened, then fled on foot.[[In-content Ad]]On Tuesday, after reviewing security tapes from the store, police located the boy at a home in Warsaw. The boy allegedly admitted to taking money from the store.
He is currently being held at St. Joseph Juvenile Justice Center.
Charges are being reviewed by the Kosciusko County Probation and Prosecutor's office.
