Teen Airlifted After Skateboarding Accident

According to Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Kip Shuter, the 14-year-old and a friend were jumping off the steps behind Lakeview Middle School on their skateboards when the teen fell and struck his head on the concrete.
When police received the call, dispatch advised the boy was unconscious and his friend later told police the boy was unconscious for one or two minutes.
Samaritan flew the teen to Parkview and no information on his condition was available at press time this morning.[[In-content Ad]]
