Gary and Julia Teel, Mentone, marked their 25th wedding anniversary Feb. 4. Gary Teel and Julia Moriarty were married Feb. 4, 1983, at Mentone United Methodist Church with the Rev. Les Taylor officiating.

Both retired this year after a combined total of 64 years teaching. She was employed by the Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. He worked for the Whitko School Corp. He also coaches the Tippecanoe Valley girls varsity basketball team. They have been enjoying spending more time together and lots of time with their family and grandchildren.

They have three children: Rusty and Amy Zimpelman, Stephanie and Bill O'Brien and Brooke and Gary Craft, all of Mentone. The have four grandchildren and another due in July.
