SYRACUSE - A Syracuse-based business closed its doors recently.

Ameri-Camp, owned and operated by RV Manufacturing Enterprises LLC, has shut down, according to a trade magazine quoting a memo sent out by company president Michael Bajaillia to suppliers.

The memo said the company had closed its doors because it didn't have the cash to pay unsecured creditors.

The company was founded in 2002 in Syracuse. It is not known how many people worked at the business located at 72440 Ind. 13.

In July 2006, Ameri-Camp announced plans for a $7.1 million expansion and to hire an additional 250 workers. It also asked Syracuse to extend water and sewer service to its factory.[[In-content Ad]]
