WINONA LAKE – SYM Financial recently announced that Thomas R. Ackmann has joined the firm to focus on leading clients with their 401(k) retirement plan design and tax reduction strategies.

Ackmann brings more than 20 years of expertise, most recently as the top officer at Baden Retirement Plan Services in Fort Wayne where he managed the design and administration of more than 1,300 retirement plans. He graduated from Concordia University, is a former member of the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council, and is a frequent speaker on a variety of pension issues.

Ackmann lives in Fort Wayne with his wife, Jen, and two daughters, Baylee and Reganne.
