Larry and Nancy Swope, North Webster, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 16, 2011.

Larry and the former Nancy Steby were married Jan. 16, 1961.

The couple have four children, Rick (and spouse Shelia) Swope, Pierceton, and Steve (and spouse Tasha) Swope, Teresa Swope and Anita (and spouse Dennis) Likens, all of North Webster.

The children are planning an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at North Webster Church of God, North Main Street.
