EVANSTON, Ill. - Philip Swarts, son of Dale and Susan Swarts, Warsaw, received a bachelor's degree from the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.[[In-content Ad]]Swarts, a Warsaw Community High School graduate, was a journalism major and political science minor. He was the recipient of an Academic Certificate in Leadership and was involved with the Daily Northwestern (campus newspaper), Canterbury Northwestern (Episcopal Student Group) and ISRC Executive Board (dorm government, 07-08). Swarts plans to earn a masters of journalism degree at Northwestern.
