She was born Jan. 29, 1943, in Auburn, to Harold and Hazel Creager Franks, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 14, 1986, in Corunna, she married Glenn R. Robbins, who survives in Warsaw.
She lived in Warsaw for 25 years, coming from Hamilton. She was a hair dresser at Rainbow Beauty Salon, Angola, and worked at Messenger Corp., Auburn. She graduated from Ashley High School in 1961 and Ravenscroft Beauty College, Fort Wayne. She enjoyed being active in Gold Wing Motorcycle Club with her husband; participated in plays at the Wagon Wheel Theatre, Warsaw; gave of her time to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program; and in her younger years was a Girl Scout Leader. She loved cuddling with her dog, Mindy, and her cat, Baby.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald “Skip” Jr. (and spouse Barb) Fuleki, Warsaw; a daughter, Valerie (and spouse Scott) Ervin, Angola; two stepsons, David (and spouse Cindy) Robbins, Mentone, and Glenn Robbins Jr., Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Ginger (and spouse Jerry) Bennett and Tina (and spouse David) Bennett, all of Warsaw; six grandchildren: Bryce, Jacqueline, Tylor, Skyler, Amber and Taylor; 13 step-grandchildren: Cameron, Ali, Christopher, Christine, Timothy, Brad, Adam, John, Rachel, Jennifer, Amanda, Andrew and Jordan; five great-grandchildren: Jared, Riley, Jack, Alex and Annabelle; four brothers: Larry (and spouse Susie) Franks, Finley, Ohio; Huburt (and spouse Linda) Franks, Albion; Norbert (and spouse Linda) Franks, Kendallville; and Randy Franks, Ashley; two sisters, Yolonda (and spouse Steve) Lechleidner, Auburn, and Tina (and spouse Dick) Smith, Ligonier; two sisters-in-law, Alma (and spouse Bob) Henson, Loogootee, and JoAnne Darling, Sarasota, Fla.; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Robbins, Elkhart, and Arnold Robbins, Lafayette. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Franks.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Dan Cox of Warsaw United Pentecostal Church, Warsaw.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
