Sutton Seeks Fourth Term As Superior Court 3 Judge

Joe Sutton is seeking a fourth term as judge of Kosciusko Superior Court 3 in the May Republican primary.
Sutton has 17 years of judicial experience on a high-volume court docket that includes felony crimes, protective orders, divorce, small claims and other civil litigation.
Sutton hopes to serve the citizens of Kosciusko County for another term bringing to bear experience, integrity, impartiality, fairness and efficiency, according to his announcement.
Sutton is a graduate of the Indiana Judicial College and has served on the Indiana Judicial Center Court Alcohol and Drug Policy Advisory Committee and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.
He earned his juris doctorate at Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, and holds masters and bachelor of science degrees from Ball State University.
He served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for more than six years and was a vice president and trust officer at Lake City Bank before his election to the bench in 1996. Other work experience includes the Financial Advisory Clinic, Fort Wayne, and eight years in education.
Sutton has been married for more than 38 years. His wife, Mary, is a third grade teacher at Northern Heights Elementary School. The Suttons have three daughters, Chris, Brooke and Kirsten, and four grandchildren.
He is a member of the Indiana Judge’s Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Kosciusko County Bar Association, St. Francis Xavier Church, Warsaw, and Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club.[[In-content Ad]]
