Suspect In Leesburg Liquor Theft Case Apprehended

KCSD deputies and detectives obtained anonymous information in the last 24 hours that allowed them to locate and arrest a Cromwell man on theft charges, according to a release from KCSD.
The theft charges are related to the September theft from the Leesburg Liquor store.
Nathanael Martin Tuttle, 35, Cromwell, was taken into custody shortly before noon at a residence near Chapman Lake, after he was found hiding inside a RV camper.
Officers preliminarily charged Tuttle with felony theft, as well as possession of precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Tuttle was also found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest in Elkhart County for unspecified charges.
KCSD detectives stated that numerous tips were received through the department and media outlets in the last 24 hours, after photos of Tuttle and a female individual were made public.
Detectives stated that the case had gone cold until citizens became involved. The citizen involvement helped expedite information as to the identity and location of the suspect.
