NAPPANEE - Susie "Carolyn" Borkholder, 70, of 8427 W. CR 1050N, Nappanee, died at 3:50 a.m. Oct. 29, 2010, in her residence.

She was born July 4, 1940, in LaGrange County, to Amos J.M. and Anna Helmuth Miller. On Dec. 8, 1966, in Marshall County, she married Noah T. Borkholder, who survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of Old Order Amish Church.

Also surviving are a son, Jacob (and spouse Bertha) Borkholder, Nappanee; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; four brothers: Glen A. (and spouse Mary) Miller and Amos Miller Jr., all of Nappanee; Harley A. (and spouse Barbara) Miller, Etna Green; and Jake Miller, Arizona; and three sisters, Ada Mae (and spouse Herman) Miller, Katie (and spouse Alvin) Miller and Mary (and spouse Kenneth) Miller, all of Bourbon. She was preceded in death by twin sons, a daughter and a grandson.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Jacob Borkholder's residence with Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop John Henry Borkholder officiating. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.

Calling is after 1 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at Jacob Borkholder's residence.

Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is in charge of arrangements.
