Editor, Times-Union:
I am writing in support of Jack Wilhite’s campaign for Warsaw Common Council.
Jack and I have known each other years.  In fact, my mother had a picture of us decorating our bikes for the Warsaw Fourth of July parade when we were “little tikes.”
Jack is a father of four adult children, three with spouses, three grandchildren and husband to Theresa Rugs Wilhite, having been married for 40 years.
Jack has been a part of our community for 51 years and employed by Zimmer Biomet for 27 years.  He is a member of the First Christian Church for more than 20 years, holding various leadership positions within the church. He has been “giving back” to our community as a Cub Master, Assistant Scout Master and Little League coach.  Politically, he has served the Republican Party and our community as a precinct committee chair, on the State Wide Redistricting Commission, the 3rd District GOP Finance Committee and close to three years on the Warsaw City Board of Zoning Appeals.
He has been a lifetime NRA member and has just recently joined the OrthoWorx Committee for Workforce Development.
Knowing Jack personally, he will be the “voice” of the people.  He will represent all of us as he works together with the council to continue moving our community forward.  For these reasons, Jack will have my vote on Nov. 3.
