Neer Received Suspended Sentence

Danielle Hickman Neer, 29, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to 13 months in prison for theft, a Class D felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. Pending good behavior, the sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation. As part of her probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $20 monthly probation user's fee. She must pay court costs and serve two weekends in jail. She also was ordered to write a letter of apology and pay restitution to her victim.

Theft Sends Poe To Prison

Frankie Poe, 37, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to four years in prison for burglary, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 234 days. He was ordered to pay court costs and restitution.

May Sentenced For Aiding Burglary

Justin May recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to two years in prison for aiding burglary, a Class C felony. He will receive redit for time served and good time credit totaling four days. Pending good behavior, the sentence is suspended and he is placed on probation. As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 administrative, $100 initial and $20 monthly probation user's fees. He was ordered to pay court costs, enroll in a minimum of one class per session at Ivy Tech during the term of probation, pay restitution, and complete recommended counseling.

Ewing Sentenced For Intimidation

Rodney Ewing recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to two years in prison for intimidation, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 12 days. He was ordered to serve six months of the sentence in a community corrections program at Serenity House, and must strictly comply with all rules set up there. The remainder of the time will be spent on probation. As part of the probation, he must pay a $100 administrative, $100 initial and $20 monthly probation user's fees. He also must consume no alcoholic beverages or be present in any bar or tavern, participate in counseling recommended and pay court costs.

Battery Nets Harris Suspended Sentence

Jeremy Evan Harris, 32, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to two years in prison for battery, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation. As part of his probation, he was ordered to pay a $100 administrative, $100 initial and $20 monthly probation user's fees. He also was ordered to have no contact with Shane Johnson, participate in any recommended counseling and serve four weekends in jail.

Ploesser To Spend 5-1/2 Years in Prison

Kenneth Eugene Ploesser, 20, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to 5-1/2 years in prison for burglary, a Class C felony. He will received credit for times served and good time credit totaling 62 days. He was ordered to pay court costs and pay restitution.

Suspended Sentence Handed To Wilson

Sheila Wilson, 39, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court to three years in prison for theft, a Class D felony. She will receive credit for times served and good time credit totaling two days. the final two years of the sentence are suspended and she will be placed on probation. As part of the probation, she must pay $100 administrative, $100 initial and $20 monthly probation user's fees. She must pay restitution. The jail portion of the sentence may be served in work release if she is qualified and remains qualified.
