Wagner Sentenced For Battery

Kiyle Wagner, 22, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to four years in prison for battery, a Class C felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days and she was ordered to pay court costs.

The sentenced was suspended and she was placed on probation. As part of that probation, she was ordered to pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.

She also was ordered to participate in any counseling recommended by the Probation Department, pay restitution and consume no alcoholic beverages and not be present in any bar or tavern during the probation period.

Warren Receives Suspended Sentence

Michael Warren recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to 1-1/2 years in prison for theft, a Class D felony.

The prison sentence was suspended and he was ordered to spend six months in Kosciusko County Jail.

The final year of the sentence will be served on probation. As part of that probation, he must pay restitution, enroll in GED classes and obtain a GED by March 31, 2011, participate in substance abuse counseling, consume no alcoholic beverages and not be present in any bar or tavern, and pay court costs.

Theft Nets Sentence For Elliott

Tana Marie Elliott, 43, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to one year in prison for theft, a Class D felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. She was ordered to pay court costs.

The sentence will be suspended pending good behavior, and she will be placed on probation. As part of that probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $20 monthly probation users fees.

She also must pay restitution.

Jones Sentenced For Forgery

Gary Jones, 22, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to four years in prison for forgery, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling four days.

He was ordered to pay court costs.

Pending good behavior, the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation. As part of that probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $20 monthly probation users fees.

He also must complete the program at Serenity House.

Gayheart Gets Suspended Sentence

Rachelle Gayheart, 27, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to one year in jail for neglect of a dependent, a Class D felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.

She was ordered to pay court costs.

Pending good behavior, the sentence is suspended and she will be placed on probation. As part of that probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.

She also must follow each and every term of her case plan with DCS, and she must execute a written release so the probation department may have full disclosure of any mental health treatment and DCS matters.

She must participate in any counseling directed and must enroll in and complete a GED class before Feb. 1, 2011.

Prison Time Given To Francis

James Curtis Francis, 21, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to six years in prison for burglary, a Class B felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 216 days.

He was ordered to pay court costs and the court recommended that the Department of Correction give him a complete mental health assessment and treatment.

Jervis Sentence Suspended

Lance Jervis, 21, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to three years in prison for theft, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 272 days.

He was ordered to pay courts costs.

Pending good behavior, two years of the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation. As part of that probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.

Mullins Sent To Prison For Theft

Jason Mullins, 29, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to 1-1/2 years in prison for theft, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.

He was ordered to pay court costs.

Honea Receives Sentence For Burglary

Daniel Honea recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to six years in prison for burglary, a Class B felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 104 days.

He was ordered to pay court costs.

Pending good behavior, the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation. As part of that probation, he must pay a $100 initial and $100 administrative fees and the monthly fee will be waived.

He also must pay restitution and extradition fees.

Michael B. Howard, 32, was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to three years in prison for battery, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 268 days.
