The recipients of five Memorial Scholarships recently were announced at Debra Collier’s School of Dance. The scholarships, named in memory of former students Lori Rigsby, Jacquline Egolf, Ashleigh Bruner and Emma Martin, and former dance parent Cindy Crane, were developed to offer opportunities to students through financial assistance and also encourage students through the recognition of their abilities and achievements. Applicants were divided into age categories and each submitted a personal essay. The recipients were: Sarah Kerschner, daughter of Kent and Arlene Kerschner; Isaac Netzley, son of Zach and Vondria Netzley; Madilynn Werbianskyj, daughter of Nicole Eby and John Werbianskyj; Brooke Rumple, daughter of Dan and Kari Rumple; and Olivia James, daughter of Chad and Heather James.
