Sharon McCarty, Warsaw, announces the engagement of her daughter, Stephanie Stratton, Huntington, to Jeremy Boxell, son of Deke and Linda Boxell, Huntington. Her father was the late Brian Stratton.

The bride-to-be is employed by Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw. She is a 2003 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and a 2006 graduate of Brown Mackie College.

The groom-elect is employed by R&B Investments, South Bend. He is a 2003 graduate of Huntington North High School.

A May 12 wedding is planned.

Next weekend approaches the fifth anniversary of the end of Spring Break where Warsaw Community Schools, along with schools nationwide, determined all students should shelter in place for the remainder of the school year.
