Stolen Vintage Coins Recovered

The complaint was issued to Pierceton officer Jim Bumbaugh Thursday.
Less than 24 hours later, Pierceton police received a tip that several hundreds of dollars in coins had been cashed in at a local bank in Pierceton by a male and female juvenile.
The juveniles were interviewed and it was discovered the two were brother and sister.
Both teens eventually confessed to stealing the coins.
The male is currently on probation through Whitley County and is currently in Pierceton Woods Academy pending a hearing.
The female was released to her parents.
Charges on both will be filed with the Kosciusko County probation office for theft and burglary.
