Earlier this year on Memorial Day, May 27, 2013, my scooter broke down on Warsaw’s north side and had to leave it and locked it.
My wife and I walked a little while and had some offers for rides and declined two rides.
On May 28, I had checked the vehicle and it was locked to a railing south of CR 300 North, Warsaw, at approximately 4:45 p.m. and it was tagged by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Sometime between 4:50 and 7:55 p.m., it was stolen by someone who thought they needed it or to make money from the parts. It was a Vento Scooter with a black box at the rear of it and it was grey with red trim on the seat. It would not have started for anyone who tried to start it without work on the exhaust.
The individual or individuals who decided to steal it should have thought of alternatives to stealing. the scooter has not been found.
