Still No God Needed

With all of the response from my letter to the editor of 3/7/2011 about "God Not Needed", I thought I would write to further explain how I came to this decision.
I visited with a Bible discussion group shortly after the death of two Grace College students when a tree limb fell on them as they sat on a swing attached to the limb. There was a pastor, who led the group, from a Winona Lake church. He teaches that it was God's plan for those two students to come to such a tragic end. I cannot recall what chapter he says this is in. Growing-up in the Catholic faith I had never heard that pain, for His people, is in God's plan.
Now bringing this into my life, I can conclude that it is God's plan for my wife to be in the ICU of a Ft. Wayne Hospital. My question to all is, "Why would I give praise and worship to a God who has planned this for my wife of 30 years?"
There is a large amount of the Bible, and in life for that matter, that I am not certain about. Right now the only thing I am certain about is that I have no idea how I am going to pay the medical bills.
I must say that I have enjoyed reading the response people have had to my letter. Well, that is all but the one from Tuesday's paper that said some people should be run out of town. If I thought prayer worked, I would pray for poor sick P.A. Miller.
