Stephens Golf Outing Raises $2,400

July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.

By Staff Report-

The Fourth Annual Golf Outing in honor of Nora Stephens was held by her children at Little Big Horn Golf Course May 10.
The event raised $2,400, which was donated to the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, administrated by K21 Health Foundation.
Stephens passed away in November 2010 of lung cancer.
Her sons started the benefit as a means to help other families who are going through what they experienced with a cancer diagnosis. They have had many of their family members and extended family suffer both from the disease and the financial burdens.
The hope is that by raising money for Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund that others can be helped in many ways while honoring their mother’s life.
