LEESBURG - Stanley K. Loy, 73, died Oct. 2, 2008, at Saint Francis Hospital, Beech Grove.

He was born May 12, 1935, to Hildra and Ila Loy. He married Patricia Loy, who passed away Aug. 14, 2001. Then he married Shirley Loy, who passed away Jan. 25, 2008.

He lived in the Warsaw and Columbia City area most of his life. He was in the U.S. Army and Korean War from 1955 to 1958. He was a long-time farmer and worked at Whitley County REMC from 1972 until retirement. He was a 25-year member of the National Horshoe Pitchers Association and a member of the Whiltey County Indoor Horseshoe Club. He was a horseshoe teacher and demonstrator. He was a member of the Warsaw Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Jolisa (and spouse Ronald) Webb; three grandchildren, Dustin Godsey, Leesburg; Brandie (and spouse Mike) Godsey Warren, Warsaw; and Ronnie Webb Jr., Arkansas; five great-grandchildren; Kayleigh Godsey; Tayton Godsey; Zavier Godsey; Devyn Warren and Caydn Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Joey Webb, who passed away Oct. 4, 2005. No services will be held.
