Warsaw Police Department officer Brandon Zartman responded to a call from the home of Kelly Ann and Randy Haddan at around 3:43 a.m. today.[[In-content Ad]]Kelly Ann Haddan, 42, of 823 E. Clark St., Warsaw, called police and told dispatch that Randy battered both her and Kelly Michelle A. Poe, 409 N. Park Avenue, Warsaw.
Poe stated that after Randy pushed Kelly Ann to the floor and punched her on the side of her face, she grabbed a knife out of her purse.
According to Poe, Randy stated that she "didn't have the balls to do it," at which point he approached Poe and she stabbed him.
Randy suffered four stab wounds, three to the stomach and one to his lower left back area.
Because of the nature of Haddan's injuries, his condition wasn't being released through Parkview.
Both women stated that Randy was at some bars, and when he came home began battering them.
When police and EMS arrived, Randy was "semi-conscious and moaning a lot," according to Zartman's report, and was not able to recount what happened.
Randy was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital and later flown to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Neither Kelly Ann Haddan or Poe had been arrested as of this morning and no charges had been filed at the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.
Information on Poe's relationship with the Haddans was not available as of this morning.
