"Rochester is arguably the best team in the conference. We just came out flat right off the bat."

Rochester took the opening kick at the 35-yard line and scored four plays later, as Brody Schoen connected with Austin Lowe for an 18-yard touchdown pass with 10:01 left in the first. Kevin Secrest set up the first touchdown with a 40-yard run on the first play from scrimmage.

"I feel like the last couple of weeks we took two steps backwards," said Baker "We don't expect them to be perfect. However, we do expect them to strive for perfection. I don't know what has happened, but we will work on it."

The Rochester defense held Manchester to 160 yards of total offense.

"We were just way too inconsistent tonight," said Baker. "We have been this way the last couple of weeks."

"We need to play mistake-free football and we were just too inconsistent tonight," said Baker. "We had some opportunities that we couldn't capitalize on. We have to improve on it as we go down the stretch."

Manchester held Rochester socreless in the third.

Rochester had the ball at the Squire 1 yard line, but on the next play Schoen fumbled the ball and it was recoverd by Kennedy at the 18 yard line.

Rochester scored its final touchdown with 7:05 let in the game when Secrest plowed into the end zone from one yard out.

Manchester will host Southwood Friday. Southwood beat undefeated North Miami 43-42 in three overtimes Friday to improve to 3-1 in conference play.

"We had a couple of scoring opportunities tonight and we didn't convert," said Baker. "We need to work on being more consistent."
