Supper At N.W. Church/Brethren
NORTH WEBSTER – The North Webster Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. CR 600N, will host the annual tenderloin supper Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Free-will donations will be accepted at the door at this event and will also include carry-out dinners for those with time limitations. Phone ahead with order if you wish at 574-834-7000.
The menu will consist of jumbo breaded pork fritters, chips, coleslaw or applesauce and drinks. Pie and ice cream and other desserts also will be available.

Band Jams At New Beginnings Church
ATWOOD – New Beginnings Church, Atwood, invites the public for an evening of fun, food and fellowship Saturday.
Hot dogs, strawberries and ice cream will be available at 4 p.m. The band jam begins at 6 p.m. with local musicians featuring secular and gospel music. If you are a musician looking for a place to share your gift, give them a call.

Celebration To Have First Eve. Service
WINONA LAKE – Celebration will have its first Saturday evening service at Winona Lake Park, just north of the Senior Center. This is in conjunction with three others churches: Church of the Good Shepherd, Winona Lake Free Methodist and Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
Come and enjoy some praise music and hymns, and a brief message on James 5:13-16 by Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer titled, “Gimme, Thanks, Oops and Wow!”
Celebration also will have its regular Sunday service Sunday at 10 a.m. at 1289 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake.
Breakfast At Warsaw Family Worship
Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1023 E. Winona Ave., will have an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast Saturday from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Warsaw Wesleyan Church, 2402 W. Old 30, will honor fathers Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m. It will show the movie “Courageous.” Admission is free.

Four O’Clock Shadow At Tippy Service
The Four O'Clock Shadow Quartet will be guest musicians Sunday at the Tippy Lake service at Patona Bay from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
The quartet is from the Wednesday Morning Optimist Club in Warsaw. The members of the quartet are Dan King, Luke Becknell, Dr. David Haines and John Kirkpatrick. There is also a Monday morning Bible study on Acts that meets by the snack bar at 9 a.m.
Mill Creek Missionary Church
Breaks Ground For New Building
ROCHESTER – Mill Creek Missionary Church has partnered with DJ Construction to build a new home for its congregation along Ind. 25 in Rochester in front of the Blacketor sports complex. The church officially broke ground to kick off the project June 3.
This relocation has been the result of several years of careful planning to develop a solution that meets the church’s current needs while allowing for significant opportunities to expand its ministries in the future.
The church intends to develop the 10 acres on this site to offer outdoor recreational activities for the community along with the ability for the building to grow in step with the growth and needs of the church.

VBS At P. Bethel Baptist Church
PIERCETON – Bethel Baptist Church of Pierceton will have vacation Bible school Monday through June 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The closing program will be June 24 at 10:30 a.m. Those 4 to 18 years are invited. The theme is “Operation Space: A Close Encounter with God’s Word.” Prepare for a galactic adventure like no other, with Bible stories, games snacks and music.

Lakeland Grace Brethren Church, 2538 S. County Farm Road, is having vacation Bible school Monday through June 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Wanted by God” and focuses on men and women wanted because they served and followed the Lord. Those entering grades kindergarten through 12 are invited to attend this time of songs, crafts, games, snacks and Bible lesson.

Kids, make a splash this summer at Rocky Point Lighthouse, where kids learn to shine God’s love. Lots of hands-on learning and fun.

New Life Christian Church and World Outreach, 744 S. CR 325E, will host vacation Bible school from June 24 through 28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Children from 4 years old to those entering the fifth grade this fall are invited to participate in this year’s theme, “Sky: Everything is Possible With God.” Programs include music, games, crafts and storytime. Snacks will be served and dinner will be available for a small fee from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

SILVER LAKE – Community Vacation Bible School will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Silver Lake Conservation Building June 25 through 29.
This year’s study theme is Babylon, Daniel’s Courage in Captivity.
Each evening will be filled with learning experiences including Bible lessons, crafts, singing, games and snacks. There will be classes for children 4 years though sixth grade and a special class for middle-schoolers.
Parents are invited to the Friday evening closing program followed with cookies and ice cream for the whole family.
Five churches are cooperating in this community VBS: Center United Methodist Church, Silver Creek Church of God, South Pleasant United Methodist Church, Silver Lake Wesleyan Church and West Eel River Church of the Brethren.

Community Grace Brethren Church, 909 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, will host its vacation Bible school “Hero HeadQuarters” June 25 through 29 from 9 a.m. to noon.
What makes someone a hero? Super powers? Amazing abilities? Wealth? Maybe … but at Hero HeadQuarters, kids will discover unnamed heroes who were not super or powerful, yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things. What they had was a willingness to be used by God right where they were.
