South Whitley Elementary Round-Ups

SOUTH WHITLEY - South Whitley Elementary School announced dates for preschool and kindergarten round-up for students entering for the 2007-08 school year.

One morning and one evening session will be available this year, and parents may attend either session.

Preschool round-up will be today at 6 p.m. Kindergarten round-up will be March 27 at 7 p.m.

A day-time session will be offered on April 12 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for both preschool and kindergarten.

Parents should plan to be present the entire hour, and should bring with them their child's Social Security card, immunization records and legal birth certificate.

Children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 are eligible to attend kindergarten this fall. All children who plan to attend South Whitley Elementary kindergarten should pre-register during round-up. Parents of children currently attending preschool at SWES also should plan to attend round-up.

Information will be presented by the transportation department, principal, school nurse, speech pathologist and the teachers. Children are welcome to attend, but it is not mandatory.[[In-content Ad]]
