South Whitley Elementary Looking For New Principal

SOUTH WHITLEY - The Whitko School Corp. is looking for a new principal for South Whitley Elementary School.

On June 1, George Roth announced to the staff at SWES that he would be stepping down.

Superintendent Steve Clason said the move was not budget related.

A phone call to Roth was not returned.

The corporation will accept applications until June 25.

Clason is asking those concerned to fill out a survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/lzcjchj

Clason is also accepting information at [email protected] or by calling 260-327-3677 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Roth came to South Whitley Elementary as principal in 2007. His first teaching job was at South Whitley as a physical education teacher in 1980.

He then held positions in the Manchester and Butler before returning to South Whitley.[[In-content Ad]]
