Wayne and Hyla Snider, Winona Lake, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 15, 2009, with a family dinner.

Wayne and the former Hyla Palmer were married Aug. 15, 1959, in the Grace College Seminary Chapel, Winona Lake, with Dr. Harold Etling and Ken Ashman officiating.

Both are retired from Grace College. He was a history professor and she as the campus post office supervisor.

They have three children, Lisa (and spouse David) Floyd, Fort Wayne, and Jackie and Jennifer Snider, both of Warsaw; and two grandchildren.
