The bride is the daughter of Macon Smith and the Rev. Marcy Reid-Smith, Greensboro, N.C. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woodward, Lexington, N.C., and formerly of this county.
The bride was escorted by her father. Attendants were Karen Murphy, Jessica Blackwelder and Rebecca Smith. The flower girls were Meredith Fogle and Natalie Reid.
The groomsmen were William Woodward, Philip Holleran and Kevin Martin. Ring bearers were Grant Fogle and Harrison Gullette.
The bride received a bachelor's degree in music eduction from Appalachian State, Boone, N.C., and is an elementary teacher at Weddington Hills Elementary, Concord, N.C.
The groom will receive a bachelor's degree in urban planning from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte this spring and works in Concord, N.C.
The couple has returned from a honeymoon trip to the West Indies Island of St. Lucia and they currently reside in Concord, N.C.
