He retired from Donnelley's and she retired from DePuy. They wintered in Apache Junction, Ariz., for 21 years and now live year-round at Sechrist Lake.
The couple have four children: Marcia Randolph, Warsaw; Phil Smith, North Webster; Ron Smith, Indianapolis; and Stan Smith, Mesquite, Texas. They have eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a family dinner.
