Phillip “Homer” and Laura Smith, 1815 Sharon St., Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 28, 1961.

Phillip and the former Laura Brandon were married Oct. 28, 1961.

Phillip worked at Barth Inc., Milford, and then DEC, Warsaw, for many years. Laura retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons.

The couple have three children, Bambi Hyde and Phil Smith Jr., both of Warsaw, and Chauncey (and spouse Aleta) Smith, Pierceton; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at Pierceton Community Building, 105 Walnut St.[[In-content Ad]]
