Small Business Loan Funds Still Available

There's still small business loan money available through the Kosciusko Development Inc. program, according to Economic Development Coordinator Kim Nance.

The low-interest loans, lent at prime rate, may be as little as $10,000 and as much as $40,000, for qualified applicants.

The business must be in Kosciusko County or be expanding by locating a facility in the county.[[In-content Ad]]There should be 25 employees or less with an annual gross revenue of $2 million or less.

The business must maintain or create new jobs.

The funds can be used to acquire land, buildings, equipment and other fixed assets; be used for construction, expansion or remodeling of buildings; be used to purchase equipment or machinery; used for research and development of new products or processes; or for buyouts by purchase of business assets.

For more information or an application contact KDI, the Warsaw-Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce or a "community partner." Community partners are Beacon Credit Union, Farmers State, Lake City, First Financial, 1st Source or Mutual Federal Savings banks.
