Dan and Norma Jean Slagle, Wabash, will celebrate their 50th wedding with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. May 20 at Lincolnville United Methodist Church, 5848 E. 500S, Wabash. Dan Slagle and Norma Fawley were married Nov. 10, 1957, at the EUB Church, Warsaw, with Dr. V.A. Carlson officiating.

Dan is in farming in Wabash County. Norma works part-time at American Healthcare Network, Wabash.

The couple have a son, Don, Wabash, and two daughters, Betty (and Greg) McClain, North Manchester, and Karen (and Todd) Gerst, missionaries to Papua, New Guinea, and seven grandchildren.
